About Martin

Martin lives with his wife and three boys in NSW’s Southern Highlands. Currently the director of his own corporate communications consultancy, Explore Communications, Martin has been working from his home office for the best part of the last 13 years, after moving from Sydney in 1998. He has an honours degree in English Literature from University of Sydney and grudgingly completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) as well.

After two years as a Legal Editor at publisher Butterworths, Martin accepted a role as online marketing specialist at IT services firm Dimension Data, where he has worked for the past 15 years, now in a consulting capacity. Working in the IT sector for the past 15 years, Martin is only too aware of both the dangers and opportunities that technology and the Internet represent for children today. He is a firm believer that parents should not only be as ‘hands on’ as possible in the education of their own children, but should also contribute more broadly to the education of children in the community.
