About Benison

Benison O’Reilly is a Sydney-based writer, blogger and mum to three boys. The youngest of Benison’s sons is on the autism spectrum, and the inspiration behind her first book, the best-selling Australian Autism Handbook, which she wrote with her good mate, Seana Smith .

Finding herself bitten by the fiction bug, Benison published her first novel Happily Ever After?, a tongue-in-cheek look at myth of the fairytale marriage, in 2010. Her other book, Beyond the Baby Blues, co-written with Seana Smith and Catherine Knox, was released in July 2011.

A new edition of the Australian Autism Handbook will be released in April, 2013
