Movie About Life of Nelson Mandela at Sydney Cinema

Eventbrite - Long Walk to Freedom - Movie About the Life of Nelson Mandela

This is a fundraiser to support Tanya Allen and Yvette Vignando's travel to

435
Africa to raise money for UNICEF. We are participating in UNICEF's Climb for Kids 2014.

Please book early and bring your husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, children, workmates, a group of friends to support us. If you think of the children in Syria, we know you'll feel moved to participate.

Over 1 million children have now fled from the horrific violence in Syria - and every day thousands more terrified boys and girls pour over the border to join them. These children have experienced fear and abuse that no child should have to go through. It's wrong that even one child should suffer like this.

UNICEF is working around the clock to provide children with clean water, food, medical care and warm clothing. But our resources are at breaking point and we need extra funding to continue our essential work with families affected.

A chronicle of Nelson Mandela's life journey from his childhood in a rural village through to his inauguration as the first democratically elected president of South Africa.

Director:

  Justin Chadwick
