We're proud of the quality and diversity of the information we can offer you here at happychild. The breadth and variety of content is due to the contributions of many wonderful writers and a small team behind the scenes helping Yvette Vignando (publisher) produce this online publication. We aim to give you information and a community of writers, bloggers and website visitors all caring about raising happy children with strong social and emotional skills - emotional intelligence.
Yvette Vignando, Publisher
Regular parenting commentator on Channel 9's Mornings, Yvette is passionate about sharing ideas for parents for raising happy and successful children. Yvette also runs workshops for teachers and parents and relishes every opportunity to talk and write about her passion.
Yvette is a parent of three boys, an active member of her children's school communities and an outspoken advocate for the importance of emotional intelligence in schools and at work.
Like many other mums, Yvette adores chocolate, craves more sleep, more time to read and would love a full time housekeeper to keep the chaos at bay. She knows that happy children have the full range of emotions and that children can not be happy all the time. But Yvette believes that children with strong social and emotional skills are most likely to have a successful, happy and fulfilled life.
